Bertha R. Dailey, 87, of Guysville, OH passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens, OH.
She was born Dec. 1, 1922 in Springfield, OH daughter of the late Todd and Ethel Frye Minerd. She was a retired cook for Ohio University.
She is survived by a daughter, Saundra and Robert Martin; a grandson, Steve and Sandy Pugh; a great-grandson, Bradley Pugh; 3 sisters, Cre Yeater, Okema Dunfee and Eudora VanKuren; 2 brothers, Bill Minerd and Roy Minerd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dailey; 4 sisters, Bessie Brown, Margaret Rittinger, Mae Boyer and Beverly Thompson; 2 brothers, Watson Minerd and Bob Minerd.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Okey Ahart officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Stewart, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
