Beverly A. Thompson, 72, of Stewart, OH passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at Marietta Memorial Hosptial, Marietta, OH.
She was born Sept. 1, 1936 in Stewart, OH daughter of the late Claude t. and Ethel Fry Minerd. She attended Rome-Canaan High School and was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Stewart.
She is survived by her special companion of 27 years, James Howell; her children, Nancy Lanning, John Williams, Kelly Davis and Brian Thompson; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Hazel Yeater, Roberta Dailey, Okema Dunfee and Eudora VanCuren; and 2 brothers, Roy Minerd and William Minerd.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Bessie Brown, Margaret rittinger and Mina Boyer; and 2 brothers, Watson Minerd and Robert Minerd.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Roger McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Stewart, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, from 11 A.M. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wesleyan Church.
