David Welsh
David Welsh, 55, of Coolville, OH passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born July 27, 1954 in Parkersburg, WV son of Lois Jean Collins Welsh and the late Dwight E. Welsh. He was a member of the Coolville Lions Club and affiliated with Athens County MMRD Board 319.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Rita and Craige Seals; 2 nieces, Sherri Seals, Marsha Seals and her fiance, Todd Griffith; a nephew, John Seals; a great-niece Elizabeth Paige Griffith; and an uncle, Leslie Collins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Mabel Welsh; and maternal grandparents, Kelly and Bertha Collins.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Revs. Katherine Riley and Helen Kline officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-8 P.M.
