Devin Riggs
Devin Ray Riggs, 15, of Long Bottom, OH passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2007 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 31, 1991 in Cape Coral, Florida, son of Kenneth Ray and Cristy Ann Newlun Riggs.
Devin would have been a Sophmore at Eastern High School where he played baseball and football. He also liked to race motorcycles, swim, water ski and was an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a beloved brother, Kenneth Dustin Riggs; maternal grandmother, Mary Newlun; paternal grandparents, Gene and Judy Riggs; 2 special couples, Tom and Sue Hayman and Connie and Larry Hill; a paternal uncle, Jay Riggs; maternal aunt and uncle, Carrie and Brian Long; cousins, Tyson, Brittany and Ashley; maternal aunt and uncle, Tina and Randy Cowdery; cousins, Jonathen, Dakoda and Micah; great-aunts and uncles, Marion Riggs, David Riggs and Rita Mitchell; and a special friend, Lauren Cummings, who is like a sister.
He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Johnnie Ray Newlun; and paternal great-grandfather, Ray Riggs.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at Bethel Worship Center, State Route 7, Reedsville, OH with Rev. Don Seevers and Rob Barber officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery, Long Bottom, OH.
Friends may call Thursday, from 5-8 P.M., at Bethel Worship Center.
