Dorothy Mae Donohoe Barringer, 77, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born Feb. 20, 1931 in Alliance, OH, to Samuel and Garnet May Francis Donohoe. She was a housewife and enjoyed life in the country until her illness would not let her. She was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and enjoyed her church family and helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clyde Barringer; 4 sons, David Mary Jo, Monty Ray Agnes Danny Kimberly and Andy; 3 daughters, Dottie June Ronald Deem, Charlotte Jean James Smith and Rosa Maria Barringer; a brother, Glenwood Donohoe; 4 sisters, Viola Peters, Elizabeth Saulsibury, Edna Donohue and Beverly Dibble; 32 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyliss Louise; a son, Clyde Jr., and an infant son; 3 sisters, Mary Baker, Beatrice Bolton and Jesse McGaffick; and 2 brothers, John and Samuel Donohoe Jr.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
