Dorothy Mae Jeffers, 91, loving mother and homemaker, of Coolville, OH passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Little Hocking, OH.
She was born November 9, 1918 in Pomeroy, OH daughter of the late Herbert and Rosa Buck Bowers. She was a member of White's Chapel Church.
She is survived by 7 children, Don Janet Jeffers, Lorene Cox, Virgene Larry Russell, June Larry James, Arrah Charles Buck, Homer Vernon Jeffers and Michael Regina Jeffers; a sister, Millie Jenne; 34 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Jeffers, 2 brothers, Buster and Clair; 5 sisters, Gladys, Katherine, Nora, Rachel and Clarice; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Jeffers; 3 sons-in-law, Andy Anderson, Lawrence Misner and Cecil Cox; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, May 2, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Charles Martindale and Rev. Phil Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in the Carthage Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, from 6-8 P.M.
