Edward Beikirch
Edward Beikirch, 71, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011.
He was born May 9, 1940 in Rochester, NY son of the late Burton and Dorothy Pierce Beikirch. He was a Bosen Mate in the Navy, a veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis and a proud member of Insulators Local #26 in Rochester, NY and a Lifetime member of Blennerhassett Area Radio Control Club.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Lou Beikirch; a daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and George Gilbert; a son Dan Beikirch; two granddaughters, Morgan Gilbert and Loni Beikirch; a sister, Barbara Skipper and her husband, Pat Geschwind and a brother-in-law, Peter Schonleber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Virginia Beikirch.
Friends may call at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home Sunday, from 3-7 P.M.
There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arcadia Nursing Center, which was amazing.
