MILLFIELD-- Eugene "Duke" Willis II, 54, of Millfield, OH, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Hickory Creek of Athens.
He was born Nov. 5, 1963 in Marion County, Indiana, son of Thelma Mae (Fields) Willis and the late Eugene Orwin Willis. Eugene was a member of the Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and he loved any kind of racing. Eugene worked in construction and the oil fields.
In addition to his mother, Thelma Willis, he is survived by 4 children, Tessa (Mike) McClain, Miranda (Jeremy) Jones, Tanaiah (Brad) Hawk and Shianna Duncan; 5 grandkids, Michael and Trace McClain, Izak Jones, Nichole Hawk and Baylee Steele; 2 brothers, Terry (Tina) Willis and David (Lisa) Willis; a special cousin, Christy Hixon and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Willis.
At Eugene's request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of Eugene's life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
