Gordon Leroy McCutcheon
Gordon Leroy McCutcheon, 74, of Dublin, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 18, 2010.
He was born June 23, 1935 in Wheeling, WV to James Robert and Florence Isabelle McCutcheon. He graduated from Bartlett School in Bartlett, Ohio and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He retired from Palmer Donavan of Columbus and was still working for Macy's.
He is survived by two brothers, Jack Jane Canfield of Columbus and Robert Laura McCutcheon of Vienna, WV; two sisters, Betty Powell of Columbus and Mary Lee Carthel of Pomeroy, OH; and many nieces and nephews. He was a beloved "Big Brother" to his nieces, Carolyn Jennings and Shirley Nichols. He was a very hard worker and loyal and loving to his family and friends. He was loved much and will be missed forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Andrew and Rufus Eugene McCutcheon; and two sisters, Wanda Rae Parsons and Marzelle Waite.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 23rd at 1 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, Ohio with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett, OH.
Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until time of service.
