Hattie Mae Baker Rockhold, 79, born May 21, 1929 of Durst Ridge Rd., Portland, OH passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008. She was born in Radnor, OH, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sisson Baker.
She is survived by one son, Steve Rockhold; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Robert Haynes of Parkersburg and Bonnie and Jerry Richards of Long Bottom; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Morris and husband, Jesse, Becky Amick and husband, Tim, Pamela Rockhold Buchanan, Robert Haynes Jr., and Shawn Haynes; 3 great-grandchildren, Amber Amick, Lacey Morris and Seth Meyer; 2 sisters, Lillie Baker of Canal Winchester and Ethel Clutter of Massillon, OH; and a brother, Carl Baker of Canton, OH; 2 very good friends, Ozzie Blair of Portland, OH and Ade Congrove of Reedsville, OH; and many other friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Rockhold on Oct. 7, 1985; 3 sons, Tommy, Paul and Sammy Rockhold; a grandson, Jerry Richards Jr.; 4 brothers, Earnest Baker, Charles Baker, Robert Baker and Clarence Baker; a sister, Beatrice Baker; a half-sister, Elizabeth Brook.
Services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Eden United Brethren Church, Reedsville, OH with Rev. Robert Sanders and Adam Will officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until time of service at the church.
