Janet S. Beckett Giovanni, 69, of Coolville, OH passed away Friday, June 5, 2009 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born July 29, 1939 in Parkersburg, WV daughter of the late Cecil and Virginia Harper Beckett.
She is survived by a daughter, Tonda Cottrill and Tim Anthony of Parkersburg; 2 sons, Thomas Mike Batson and his wife, Janine Fogleman of Struthers, OH and Steven Ray Butler of Marietta, OH; a special companion, Richard Dick Sams of Belpre, OH; 2 brothers, Jack Beckett of Parkersburg WV and Kenny Beckett of Twin City, MN; a sister, Arlene White of Newark, WV; 7 grandchildren, Shad Mace, Jake Cottrill, Amos Cottrill, Rikki Lee Batson, Kenny Fogleman, Marco and Nikki Giovanni; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Giovanni Jr.; and a brother, Eddie Beckett.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, June 8, 2009 at Green Haven Cemetery, Austintown, OH with James Elder Tracewell officiating.
