L. Jean Welsh, 79, of Coolville, OH passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born Sept. 20, 1934 in Coolville, OH daughter of the late Kelly and Bertha Ward Collins. She was a member of the Coolville United Methodist Church as well as the Coolville United Methodist Women, Daughters of America in Chester and the VFW Auxillary in Tuppers Plains.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita Craige Seals; 3 grandchildren, Sherri, Marsha and John; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Welsh; a son, David Welsh; a brother, Leslie Collins and a half brother, Mayford Cook.
Services will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Rev. Katherine Riley officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
