Martha A. Elliott, crossed over to her Heavenly home on May 3, 2015.
Martha was born on August 17, 1928 in Myra, West Virginia. She attended the Zion United Brethren Church where she served as Secretary and Treasurer for 20 years. She attended various other churches after the Zion Church closed its doors.
Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nancy and Gilbert Miller; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Warren Elliott; a son, Howard (Delilah) Elliott; a step-son, Jackie (Brenda) Elliott; grandsons, Todd Elliott, Trent Elliott and Scott Elliott; a granddaughter, Amy (Erik) Konrady; great-grandsons, Joseph (Amber) Konrady and Kristian Konrady; 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Martha will be remembered for her kindness to all. The Family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Kimes Convalescent Center for the love and care they gave her throughout her stay.
Visitation hours are 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, 2817 5th Street, Coolville, OH.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Floyd Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Athens County Memory Gardens.
