Marvin Gilbert
Marvin Nelson Gilbert, 68, of Coolville, OH passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at his residence.
He was born March 24, 1943 in Athens, OH, son of the late George Wesley Gilbert and Wilma Cole Gilbert Weaver. He was a material handler for Kardex and a member of the Steel Workers Union. He attended Fairview Chapel Church and was a member of the Lottridge Community Assoc. and the Lottridge Senior Center.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Knopp Gilbert; 3 sons, George and Wendy, Scott and his fiance, Mariea Wheaton and Joshua and Mary; and 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Karen, Morgan, Levi and Laura.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, James Weaver.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 a Fairview Chapel Church, Coolville, OH with John Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH.
