Michael Allen Rood, 18, of Stewart, OH passed away Monday, July 21, 2014.
He was born Nov. 13, 1995 in Athens, OH son of Christopher Shaun Rood and Tisha Lynn Norton Skellett.
Michael loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling and was always one to be remembered to have a big heart for everyone.
He is surived by his mother and step-father, Tisha and Robert Skellett; his father and step-mother, Christopher and Tammy Rood; 3 sisters, Kara Henderly, Kaylynn Skellett and Hannah Skellett; paternal grandparents, Vickie and Ray Watson; paternal grandfather, Jack Rood; maternal grandparents, Charlotte and Mike Norton; maternal great-grandparents, Virgil and Doris Dunfee; an aunt, Crystal and Dustin Bolin; a special cousin, Keegen Salyers; a great-aunt and uncle, Cindy and David Salyers; numerous other cousins and a lot of special friends.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Brett Rood.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, July 25, 2014 at Stewart Wesleyan Church with Rev. John Butcher officiating. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery, Stewart, OH.
