Mildred Geneva Caldwell, 95, of Reedsville, OH passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
She was born Aug. 30, 1917 in Long Bottom, OH daughter of the late Daniel Thomas and Edna Mae Lamb Summerfield.
She was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Mountain State College for one year. She was also a lifetime member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains, OH.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Sue Caldwell of Reedsville, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Jerry Carter of Rocky Mount, NC; a brother, Rex Summerfield of Long Bottom, OH 4 grandsons, Jeff and Melanie Carter, Kenneth Jr. and Shelly Caldwell, Jon and Julie Carter and Matthew and Jennifer Caldwell; a granddaughter, Michelle Caldwell and her fiance, Erick Meliher; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sarah Caldwell and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil M. Caldwell; a sister and 3 brothers.
Services will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, April 14, 2013 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Jenni Dunham officiating. Burial will be in the Tuppers Plains Christian Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, from 5-8 P.M.
