Orvella Maley, 88, of Little Hocking, OH passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at Arcadia Nursing Center, Coolville, OH.
She was born Oct. 21, 1926 in Parkersburg, WV daughter of the late Merle G. and Byrdie Harold Brake. She was a homemaker, a member of Little Hocking Fellowship Chapel, where she was the treasurer and a member of the D of A #84 in Chester.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Grace McDougle of Belpre and Evelyn and William Mullins of Marietta; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Burnette of North Carolina; a foster daughter, Helen and Larry Hall of Coolville; 3 grandsons, Shane and Melissa Hall, Larry Hall and Bobbi Parker and Erc Maley; 2 granddaughters, Marilyn Pence and Brandi Roush and 3 great-grandsons, Dustin, Tayvon and Kayden and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Casto Maley and a son, Steven Maley.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Rick Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the Newberry Cemetery in Little Hocking,
