Rev. Ronald B. Vogelsong, 70, of Coolville, OH passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
He was born May 13, 1939 in Ironton, OH son of the late Willford and Mary Elizabeth Markel Vogelsong. He was a member of White's Chapel Church and was an ordained minister through the AFMC Conference for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bernice Sams Vogelsong; 4 sons, Doug and friend, Brenda Blake of Belpre, OH, Wayne and Bobbi of Coolville, OH, Ben and Brenda of Parkersburg, WV and Eric and Cindy of Cutler, OH; 3 grandsons, Ronald Vogelsong of Pensicola, FL, Tim Vogelsong of Columbus, OH and K. W. Vogelsong of Belpre, OH; 1 granddaughter, Sarah Vogelsong of Cutler, OH; 2 step-grandsons, Tim Misner and Richard Misner; 3 great-granddaughters, Maya, Madilyn and Alyssia.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Revs. Charles Martindale and Phil Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in the Weatherby Cemetery, Coolville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
