Ronald Marcum, 64, of Belpre, OH passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV after a long illness.
He was born June 29, 1946 in Logan, WV son of the late Bill and Ruth Corns Marcum. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and a Maintenance Foreman at Kaiser Aluminum.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Banks Marcum of Belpre, OH; his children, Kathy Marcum Dotson of Belpre, OH, Jeff Marcum of Ravenswood, WV, Robert Marcum of Coolville, OH and Jennifer Marcum Martin of Cutler, OH; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a brother, Donald Marcum of Hazard, KY; and 2 sisters, Brenda Marcum Huffman of Sanford, NC and Suzie Marcum Johnson of Laporte, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ruth Marcum.
Services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Josephine Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
