Rosemary Mary Root, of Coolville, OH passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 unexpectedly at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born November 19, 1937 in Wood County, WV daughter of the late Carl and Lena Sams Schrader.
Mary was a wonderful, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Coolville and was employed at Arcadia Nursing Center for 25 years. She was very dedicated and loved her job.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Robert Root of 55 years; sons, Kevin Root and Robert Janet Root; daughters, Debra Bud Sidwell, Kecia Larry Buck and Jenni Root; grandchildren, Matthew Tamara Root, Brett Root, Lacey Jeremy Holland, Tracey Tyler Sidwell, Stacey William Sidwell, Michael Erin Root, Caleb Buck, Evon Root, Jeffery Root, Ian Brookover, Tyler Smith and Hannah Smith; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Wires, Kayleigh and Mattie Root all of Coolville, OH; a sister, Harriett Marie Lipscomb of Belpre, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Gene.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will be in the Coolville Cemetery.
