Ruth Montelius
Ruth Montelius, 88, of Reedsville, OH passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her residence.
She was born November 24, 1921 in Pickaway County, OH daughter of the late Harry E. and Evelyn Reid Montelius. The family farm she was raised on was the first farm settled in Pickaway County in 1796. She was a member of the DAR in Circleville and was a retired school teacher with the Westfall School District. She was a passionate ZETA TAU ALPHA and a graduate from Miami University, where she earned her Masters Degree.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Charlie Hawk.
A memorial service will be held 7 P.M., Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Circleville.
Friends may call at the church Friday, from 4-7 P.M.
