GUYSVILLE--Stephen D. Lightner, 56, of Guysville, OH passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence.
He was born April 17, 1961 in Morgantown, WV son of Lora Belle Pugh Lightner and the late Denver D. Lightner. He was an Engineer for the railroad, a 1979 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, an avid Dodge Nascar Fan, formerly employed at Athens Sportcycles and he loved his animals.
In addition to his mother, Lora, Stephen is survived by his lifelong partner, Bobbie Jo; 2 brothers, Denver C. Lightner and Larry D. (Sue) Lightner; a nephew, Denver D. Lightner; a niece, Rachel Bange and 2 great-nephews.
Besides the Lord, Stephen will be welcomed home by his father, Denver.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH. Burial will follow in the Bethany Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, from 11 A.M. until time of service.
