Benjamin Junior Barnhart, 82 of Athens, OH passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Laurels of Athens.
He was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Athens County, OH son of the late Benjamin and Otabelle Johnson Barnhart. He attended the Wesleyan Church in Stewart.
He is survived by his sister, Donna "Polly" Chambers; his immediate family, nephew Eddie and Rhonda Barnhart and their children, Kim and Keith Barnhart and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Marie Christy, Ethel Cole, Sally DePew, Jessie Russell and Betty Graham and 4 brothers, Earl, Amos, Paul and Jimmy Barnhart.
Services will be held att. 1 P.M. Friday, May 13, 2016 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Pastor Gene Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Carthage Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 11 A.M. until time of service.
