Pomeroy - Billie Allen Davis, 85, of Pomeroy, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at his residence. Born November 14, 1936, he was the son of the late Jonas and Opal Davis. Bill was the owner of Bill’s Quality Body Shop in Middleport for thirty-five years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ruby Curry Davis; one son, Joseph (Laura) Davis; one daughter, Tricia (Eddie) Baer; eleven grandchildren, John, Shilo,Tony, Missy, Joe, Myke, Ruchel, Aaron, John, Billy Jo and Brandon; twelve great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, LeAnna (Brett) Newsome; a son-in-law, John Moore; a sister-in-law, Nola Stump; three nieces, Tamra, Kimberly and Kelli; a great niece, Whitney and a great great niece, Reagan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorie Moore; one son, John Davis and four sisters, Jean, Charlene, Mary and Carol. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Letart Falls Cemetery with Jeff Davis officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net
