Caryl Kay Reed REEDSVILLE—Caryl Kay Reed, 77, of Reedsville, OH, passed away on February 13, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. Caryl was born August 16, 1944, to Edward and Lona Chevalier in Reedsville, OH. Caryl graduated from Eastern High School in 1962. She worked for Public Debt in Parkersburg, WV, until she retired after 30 years. Caryl was a member of Reedsville United Methodist Church and loved spending time with all of her grandkids and great-grandkids. Caryl is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roy Reed; daughter, Brenda Grady of Cheshire, OH, daughter, Lea Reed of Reedsville, OH and daughter, Crystal Reed of Reedsville, OH; son, Roy Reed, Jr. of Reedsville, OH, daughter, Rebecca (Kevin) Reed of Tuppers Plains, OH. Caryl is also survived by brother, Zenith (Nancy) Chevalier of Florida, twin brother, Garrel (Karen) Chevalier of Fredricktown, OH; 6 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Caryl was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Lona Chevalier; sister, Evelyn (Guy) Spencer; brother, Lowell (Sue) Chevalier and niece, Amy Jo Chevalier. Funeral services will be held at the Reedsville United Methodist Church on Friday, February 18th, 2022, at 1 P.M., with Pastor Angie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Reedsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Friday, from 11 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Reedsville United Methodist Church.
