Charles William (Chuck) Meredith passed away in January at his home.
Chuck was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 11, 1949 to William and Gladys (Pickens) Meredith. His family moved to Waterford, OH then to neighboring Beverly. Chuck was a valedictorian of his class at Fort Frye High School. He attended Marietta College and then received both a bachelors and a masters degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University. He loved to tinker and worked from many years as an engineer. He designed and installed lighting systems for airports across the United States.
Chuck was a long¬time resident of Chillicothe, where he farmed pine trees on several acres. He shared a love of the outdoors, farming and hunting with his father and his late uncle, Warren Pickens at Reedsville, OH. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, for whom he served as caretaker, and beloved brother, Roger.
He is survived by a niece, several cousins, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service and burial was held at the Reedsville Cemetery in Reedsville, OH on Sunday, June 27th.
