Pomeroy - Christopher McKinney, 60, of Pomeroy, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Arbors of Pomeroy.
Born July 26, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Carla Burns McKinney. Christopher was a 1981 graduate of Meigs High School and United States Navy veteran. He worked for Electro Craft as a machinist for many years and was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two sons, Jared (Lynsi) McKinney and Treay (Megan) McKinney; one daughter, Bethany (Todd) Rizer; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Landon, Easton, Liam, Gibson, Brinley and Kimber; one brother, John (Sheila) McKinney and one sister, Angela Smith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff and Bill: one sister, Anna and a grandson, Braiden.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
