Pomeroy - Hubert L. Wolfe, 80, of Pomeroy, died Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his residence.
Born January 26, 1940 in Darwin, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward Wayne and Gladys Chaney Wolfe. Hubert was a 1959 graduate of Eastern High School and a retired coal miner.
He is survived by his wife Marcia Wolfe; a son Keith (Cindy) Wolfe; two grandchildren Trenton (Jordyn) Wolfe and Carissa (Eric) Muhlenkamp; one sister Sandy; a niece Alesha (Bob) Day and one nephew Lee (Janna) Keney.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 57 years Judith Wolfe and a sister Mona June Wolfe.
At Hubert’s request, there will be private graveside services with burial in Mount Herman Cemetery. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements are by the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy.
