John P. Boling, 34, of Pomeroy died January 7, 2016 at Holzer-Meigs Emergency Department in Pomeroy.
Born July 26, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late John Paul Stepp and Sandra Boling. John graduated from Meigs High School in 2000 where he was a captain of the football team.
He is survived by two brothers, David (Morgan) and Donald (Titia) Boling both of Pomeroy; grandparents Rhea and Marvin Bean of Racine; an aunt Cheryl (John) Stumbo; two uncles Keith (Tammy) Day and Robert (Wilma) Boling, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends may call the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home Sunday from noon till 2:00PM. You are invited to sign the online guest book at ewingfuneralhome.net.
