COOLVILLE—John H. Life, 82, of Coolville, OH, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 14, 1936 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Pearl and Ruby Silvis Life. He was an Air Force Veteran, a member of the Forked Run Gun Club and a founding member of the Friends and Family Food Pantry.
John is survived by 4 daughters, Ruby Hill, Mary Delancey, Hazel Smith and Shon Gates; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Pearl Life, Charles Life and Tony Life; and 4 sisters, Peggy Johnson, Eva Thorn, Pam Jones and Janice Jones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Life; a son, Howard Life and a son-in-law, Gene Hill.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Parkersburg, where military graveside services will be conducted.
Visitation will be held Saturday, from 4-6 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
