Joyce Jean Dowden, 67, of Middleport, OH passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH.
She was born March 13, 1941 in Coolville, OH daughter of the late John and Sadie Blake Cubbison.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Sherri Billings of Middleport, OH; 3 sons, John H. and Tammy Day of Mesilla Park, NM, Mark and Mary Day of Reno, NV and Gary and Roberta Day of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Wayne Cubbison of Coolville, OH; a sister, Norma Williamson of Vienna, WV; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Martin Day; a granddaughter, Patricia Day and a niece Melissa Cubbison.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home, Coolville, OH with Randy L. Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery, Reedsville, OH.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 P.M.
