STEWART-- Kenneth James Goodfellow, 86, of Stewart, OH, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1932 in Athens, OH, son of the late James and Bertha Lucas Goodfellow. Kenneth was a 1951graduate of Rome Canaan High School and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He completed his basic training in Hawaii and ended his service in Germany. Kenneth was an Electrician for Union Local IBEW 972 and worked for Conrath Electric and K & K Electric. He was also a Mason and one of the founding members of the Rome TWP Vol. Fire Dept.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Russell Goodfellow; a daughter, Kenna Sue (Donald) Poston; a son, James Doren (Elaine) Goodfellow; four grandchildren, Brian Poston (Kelsey), Greg Poston (Liz), Tyler Goodfellow (Tracey) and Amber Goodfellow-Smith (Nate); five great-grandchildren, Callie Goodfellow, Claire Goodfellow and Cameron Goodfellow, Vivian Smith and Reed Poston; two brothers, Jack Goodfellow and Monty Goodfellow (Missy); two brothers-in-law, Larry Russell (Nina) and Dick Siddle.
At Kenneth's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
