LITTLE HOCKING—Mary L. Parsons Riggs, 87, of Little Hocking, OH, passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at her residence.
She was born May 21, 1934, in Grantsville, WV, daughter of the late Lexie and Dollie Mae Hughes Miller. Mary was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Little Hocking, OH.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane and Charles Griffith; son, Ed Parsons; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly, J.R., Jason and Shad; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Miller and a brother, Johnny Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo Parsons; second husband, Verlin Riggs; a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M., Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Ed Beatty officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
