Richard Blessing, 69, a longtime Meigs County resident died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at his daughters residence.
Born June 7, 1950 in West Columbia, WV, he was the son of the late Homer and Gladys Sydenstricker Blessing. Richard was a trucker driver much of his life and a United States Marine Corp veteran.
He is survived by four daughters, Karen Roush, Cathy Humphrey, Bobbie Vining and Peggy Wilson and one son Michael Blessing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife in 1999 Stella Blessing.
Richards’s wishes were to have private graveside services at Wells Cemetery in Pageville. Arrangements are by the Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Friends are encouraged to sign the online guestbook at ewingfuneralhome.net.
