Stephen Lee Farney, Buchtel, OH, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.
He was born Aug. 30, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV, son of Velda Jackson Farney and the late Stephen Farney. He was a member of the Torch Gospel Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Velda Farney, Stephen is survived by his wife of 18 years, Terry Cox Farney; a daughter, Katlyn Seggerman and a brother Russ and Johanna Farney.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Farney.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Hockingport, OH.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
