Virgil "Gene Dagwood" Westfall
LONG BOTTOM--Virgil "Gene Dagwood" Westfall, 72, of Long Bottom, OH passed awayTuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at Belpre Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He was born Nov. 11, 1944 in Reedsville, OH son of the late Virgil Woodrow and Margaret Brawley Westfall.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fay Cozart Westfall; 2 brothers, Jack Westfall and Roger (Sheila) Westfall; 2 sisters, Judy (Pastor George) Horner and Linda (Dave) Smeeks; 3 brothers-in-law, Gerald Cozart, George Cozart and David Cozart and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Sylvia Causey and Marlene Welch.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at Grace Bretheren Church in Coolville with Pastors George Horner and Bill Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in the Heiney Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-7 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville.
