William J. "Bill" Murrey
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of SGM (Ret) William J. Murrey on January 25, 2016. He leaves behind his wonderful wife of almost 25 years. He was born in Coolville, Ohio on May 25, 1936, to Wren (Garton) Murrey and Harry Lester Murrey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Robert Murrey of Vincent, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Misty Mann Murrey; his sons, Brian Murrey and Randy Murrey; stepdaughters, Beverly (Bob) Swain and Cheryl (Mike) Cottrell; his sister, Betty (Dorsel) Vineyard; and his brother, Ed (Betty) Murrey.
Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:30 A.M.., with Pastor Aaron Wheaton officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for today from 4-8 p.m., at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
